Practitioner guide

Participants, trials, watermarks, between-session workflows, and sharing.

About 9 min read

This guide is for coaches, therapists, OTs, and other practitioners generating personalised resources for participants between sessions.

Set your view to "For participants"

  1. Open Account.
  2. Under Default view, choose For participants (practitioner).
  3. The app uses participant / participants instead of profile or child.

Your signup role may default to practitioner if you registered from the practitioners page — you can still override the view anytime.

Practitioner plans

PlanTrialAfter subscribe
Solo ($29.99/mo)7-day trial, watermarked PDFsFull-quality new resources
Centre ($49.99/mo)Same trial rulesHigher limits for teams

Important trial rules:

  • Each account gets one practitioner trial ever (Solo or Centre).
  • Resources generated during the trial keep a trial watermark even after you subscribe.
  • New resources after subscribing are full quality (no watermark).

See Pricing for current limits. Clinics with multiple seats should see For clinics.

Before entering participant data, confirm:

  • You have a legitimate professional relationship with the participant.
  • You have informed consent (or appropriate parental consent for minors) to enter their information and generate resources.

Generated content is for coaching and educational support — not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. See Terms of Service.

Add a participant

  1. Dashboard → New participant.
  2. Complete the intake wizard with information you'd normally gather clinically — struggles, context, goals, preferences.
  3. Save — the participant's page lists every printable you can generate for them.

Profile limits depend on your plan. If you hit the cap, upgrade from Account or Pricing.

Typical workflow between sessions

  1. Intake or review — create or update the participant profile after an assessment or check-in.
  2. Choose a resource — support kit for a new client, routine cards for homework structure, RSD card for rejection sensitivity, posters for a therapy room.
  3. Generate — content is tailored to this participant's intake (not a generic template).
  4. Download or share — bring the PDF to the next session, email it, or use Share for a view-only link.
  5. Re-generate if the participant's situation changes — practitioner plans include re-generation within monthly limits.

Resource types practitioners use most

  • Full support kit — handout pack for the participant to take home
  • How to support me letter — for family, school, or workplace allies
  • Routine cards / weekly planner — between-session homework
  • Illustrated A4 posters — therapy room or participant's home (Calm Corner, Body Scan, etc.)
  • RSD first-aid card — rejection-sensitive dysphoria strategies

Subscribed practitioners: only new generations after subscribing are watermark-free. Trial-era PDFs are not retroactively updated.

Sharing with participants

  • Download PDF and send via your usual secure channel.
  • Share link — creates a tokenised view-only page (/s/...) you can copy to the participant.
  • You may not resell generated content as a standalone product.

View mode and terminology

Practitioners can switch Account → Default view to parent or consumer mode when using the app personally. Participant data is shared across views — only labels change.

Billing and cancellation

  • Account → Subscription → Manage billing opens the Stripe portal.
  • Cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • One trial per account — contact hello@simplyadhd.com.au if you need help choosing a plan.
  • Getting started — account and generation basics
  • FAQ — trial rules, refunds, data handling
  • For clinics — multi-seat and organisation billing
